Multi-Point Locking Systems
A Multi-point locking system is very secure, and it also provides excellent draft proofing as pulls the door into place in several positions. This adds to security as there are several locking points on the door when it is secured into the locking position.

Cylinder locks require a hole in the face of the door; this accommodates the lock chassis and a cut in the edge of the door for the latch bolt.
